Molecular Mechanisms of Human Diseases
Our research program is devoted to the study of signalling networks that integrate diverse metabolic, stress and environmental cues to control cell growth, proliferation, metabolism and survival. By striving for a comprehensive mechanistic understanding of these networks and the fundamental life processes they control, we are providing an ever more complex but coherent view as to their roles in normal cell physiology and human disease states such as cancer, obesity and diabetes.
