The Competence Center for Systems Physiology and Metabolic Diseases offers an international Ph.D. Program under the umbrella of the Life Science Zurich Graduate School.

Ambitious students who want to use the Systems Biology approach to work on metabolic disorders in cells and organisms in an interdisciplinary environment are invited to apply.

Our program offers interesting research, lectures and courses for a wide range of students coming from disciplines as Computer Sciences and (Bio)Informatics, Mathematics and Modeling, Biological Sciences and Medical Sciences or (Bio)Engineering.

During the course accepted students will perform their research project in a CC-SPMD group of their choice and will follow teaching and training courses offered by CC-SPMD or by other Ph.D. programs of the Graduate School.
They will obtain their Ph.D. from either the University of Zurich or ETH Zurich depending on the affiliation of their host laboratory and receive a graded certificate from the program. The program language is English.
